Jack Ma was born on 15 September 1964 in Hangzhou, China. During that period China was isolated from the Western Countries. At that time their family was in the grip of poverty. In 1972, Richard Nixon, the President of the United States, visited his city. His city became a tourist place as he came and went there. Jack Ma was very interested in learning English, so he learned English by talking to the travelers who came to his city, and helping them as needed. Thus he made many tourist friends, one of whom named him Jack, until then his name was Ma Yun. After failing at 30 job interviews, he was working as an English teacher at a local university for a paltry salary.

In 1995, he got an opportunity to go to America, and only then did he come to know about the Internet. One of his friends gave him a computer and asked him to search for something. At first, he was afraid to touch the computer and after some time he searched some things on the internet. But he found out that no matter what he searched in the browser, nothing much came up about China. He was very impressed with the internet. He thought of connecting small businesses in the country through the Internet. On his return to China, he started a website called China Pages.  Through this, he offered to give websites to small businesses. He ran this business for a while but closed it as he did not get any investment.

But this time he didn’t quit and started a company called Alibaba.com along with all his friends. He gave the option to Those wishing to export listed their products on the Alibaba website. Then he created a delivery system through the app where customers can directly order and buy the products. He did not make any money in the three years he started this company. But in October 1999, he raised funding of $5 million from Goldman Sachs Company. Then he raised the funding of $20 million in Softbank. In 2005, Yahoo bought 40% of Alibaba Shares for $1 billion. It was a huge success for Alibaba.com and a good investment plan for Yahoo. On 19 September 2014, Alibaba launched its IPO.  Through this, they got more funding than Google. With this, Jack Ma told his company employees, we have not only earned money, we have also earned their trust.  He said that we should save this till the end. This is how Jack Mark became China’s biggest billionaire and today his network is worth $30.1 billion.

A man has achieved so much success in his life only because he has faced so many failures in his life but has not given up on them. So if you too have seen too many failures in your life, don’t give up immediately. Because if we get rejected at one place it means that there is a bigger opportunity waiting for us.
